FIREFIGHTERS were called into action on Sunday morning after reports of a shed fire in Totnes.
Fire Control received multiple calls on June 21 before mobilising crews from Totnes and Buckfastleigh to the incident.
On arrival, firefighters confirmed that two sheds were well alight, with the fire spreading to two nearby properties.
Crews worked to bring the blaze under control using a hose reel jet, a triple extension ladder, a thermal imaging camera, a gas monitor, and small tools.
Despite their efforts, both sheds were completely destroyed by fire, with significant heat and smoke damage caused to the rear of the properties.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is believed to have been deliberate, Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service have said.
