DEVON County Council are encouraging parents to join a virtual webinar to help their child make informed choices about their future after school or college.

Taking place on Tuesday, June 3 from 6pm until 7pm, the free, online session, which is led by Devon, Torbay and Plymouth Careers Hub, is designed to help parents discover how apprenticeships are opening doors to exciting careers.

‘Whether your child is in Year 10 or finishing school this year, this session will give you the tools and knowledge to support them on their journey’ a spokesperson for Devon County Council said.

‘Learn about apprenticeship opportunities in our region and how they can be an excellent route into a successful and rewarding career.

‘Parents, carers and teachers all play a vital role in shaping a young person’s future, and this is a great chance to find out more – ask questions and explore what’s out there so that you can support a young person to find their best next steps’ the spokesperson added.
