AN application for an electric vehicle charging point in Kenton has been rejected by planners.
25/00723/FUL sought to install one 50kW electric vehicle charging point in Kenton Village car park.
The proposals showed provision for two electric vehicle bays, with the charger in-between the two bays.
But TDC refused to grant permission.
The site is located within a Flood Zone, and TDC said that the submitted flood risk assessment provided ‘insufficient information to demonstrate that the development is appropriately located and cannot be located in a lower risk area, nor that it has designed to be flood resistant and resilient and will be safe over its lifetime.’
