If you’re wondering how to keep the kids occupied in the weeks ahead it’s time to check out what fun events are taking place in July and August at

l 26 July to 26 August – Cave Cinema Underground Film Festival at Kents Cavern – pop-up underground cinema offering a unique experience.

l 27 July – The Pirate Tram – set sail on Seaton Pearl with Captain Nick – fun-filled tram ride following the Axe Estuary at Seaton Tramway.

l28 July, 18 August & 1 September – Belle the friendly Shetland pony visits to meet everyone at Canonteign Falls

l 30 July to 31 August – Complete the FREE nature challenge to win a prize plus enter into the prize draw to win a family season ticket for 2023 at Becky Falls.

l 31 July – Chapterhouse Open-air Garden Theatre – Cinderella at Powderham Castle

l1 – 14 August, every Tue, Wed & Thur evening – Summer Evening Illuminations at Babbacombe Model Village, plus more dates online

l 3 – 18 August – Catapulting Chaos Lego Activity – come and build a catapult just like the Romans at Royal Albert Memorial Museum.

l 9 August – Titan the Robot – Titan’s unique blend of comedy, street theatre and music creates an unrivalled show at Woodlands Theme Park

l 5 September – Cruise along the oldest working shipping canal in Europe with Stuart Line Cruises

Many of Devon’s Top Attractions are dog friendly and openly welcome our four legged friends which is especially important as so many local Devon families have a dog as part of their family.

Plus, everyone now wants to bring their furry friends on holiday with them too. You can take your dog on our steam trains, trams and boat cruises, wander the grounds of Devon’s top stately homes and gardens and let them explore our natural attractions out on Dartmoor.

At attractions who have livestock dogs aren’t permitted but some do have lockable kennels, water and exercising areas.
