Chudleigh Knighton Pre-School celebrated its 50 year anniversary last month, with staff marking the occasion by walking an impressive 50kms across Dartmoor to raise money for new equipment.

They also threw a party in the Pre-school garden so that all the children, parents and carers could help celebrate their half a century.

Founded in 1972, the pre-school has gone from strength to strength over the years, starting off in the village hall and gradually expanding into its own premises on the edge of the village in 2010, where it remains today surrounded by open countryside.

They accept children from all of the surrounding areas from the age of 2 years right through until they start primary school, and provide a safe and stimulating environment in which children thrive and grow.

If you would like to find out more visit www.ckpreschool.co.uk. They will be holding two open days in August for new children on Thursday, August 11, from 9am-12pm and Thursday, August 18, from 9am-12pm.
