A MALE riding an electric bike in Torquay was found to have more than £3,000 worth of drugs after being stopped by police.
Officers from Torquay Neighbourhood team detained and searched the male riding the illegal E-bike in Factory Row on Monday, August 18.
The male was found to be in possession of heroin and crack cocaine, with and estimated street value of around £3,500.
He was arrested for possession with intent to supply class A drugs and taken into custody.
The bike was seized and will be destroyed.
‘We will continue to tackle this criminality in the local area and target those involved’, says Torquay Police.
‘If you have any information that may assist us disrupt this behaviour, please contact us’, added the force.
