AMAZINGLY, a driver escaped with minor injuries in this crash in Teignmouth last night, Friday.

Teignmouth Fire Station reports on its Facebook page: 'Last night both Teignmouth appliances were mobilised to an RTC (road traffic collision) in one of the back roads from the station.

'The crews arrived to find one person trapped in the car and thankfully with only minor injuries.

'Both crews got to work stabilising the car before safely removing the windscreen to extricate the casualty who was then checked over by the attending Ambulance crew.

'RTC’s can be very diverse and our Firefighters train regularly for these types of incidents.
