FIRE crews were called into action this week after a driver was trapped in an overturned car.
Both Chagford and Exmouth sent an appliance to Doccombe following reports of a road traffic collision near the Dartmoor hamlet.
Upon arrival on the afternoon of Monday, September 22, crews found one car on its roof, with the driver still stuck inside.
Crews released the casualty using stabilisation equipment.
The casualty was left in the hands of the paramedics on scene.
