A TEIGNBRIDGE town's community apple press will be in action once again this October.
Dreams of Chudleigh-made cider could become a reality, as a community apple press in the town gets going.
The planned dates for the pressing of the apples are October 14 and 15, between 10am and 12 noon at the community orchard near Millstream Meadow park.
Planted by Chudleigh Wild, this will be the third year the orchard has bore fruit.
A spokesman for Chudleigh Wild said: 'It would be really good if some of those of you who have come along to previous years pressings with your families could come and give all us old folk a hand with the day!
'Contact Ramsay or Migs Atkinson at [email protected] to register your interest.
'We are also offering the use of the press to anyone with their own fruit, in return for contribution to Chudleigh Wild.
'The press was purchased last year through your kind donations, and is an asset for us all.
'Please take advantage if you have your own fruit and can't make the Community Days.
'If you have any apples of your own that you would like to be pressed, please bring them along! 10am is best for making sure you get your own personal juice!'
Posters with more information are to be put up around Chudleigh, alternatively contact Ramsay Atkinson on 07803 491593 for updates.
