POLICE will bring their community engagement van to a Dartmoor town this week.

Members of Okehampton Police will be visiting Chagford Square on Wednesday, April 8.

Officers will be on hand from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

A spokesperson for the team said: ‘Come along to meet your local neighbourhood team, raise any concerns, or simply have a chat - we are here to listen and help.

‘We will also be joined by Devon and Cornwall Police Rural Affairs Team, who will be providing information and advice on rural crime including the updated dog livestock worrying legislation.

‘Whether you are a dog owner or just interested in local issues, we would love to see you there’.
