A COUNTRY park has reminded its visitors not to dump pumpkins within its grounds after Halloween.
'We want to remind visitors not to dump their used pumpkins in the park' a spokesperson for Stover Country Park said.
'Leaving pumpkins in the woods can seem like a great sustainable option.
'However, they can make wildlife such as hedgehogs ill and cause a lot of mess which takes a significant amount of time for the rangers to tidy up' the spokesperson added.
Used pumpkins can be disposed in the food waste or in the compost heap.
