A SITE manager for a building site in Dawlish has been recognised with a prestigious industry award.

Mike Mitchell received the Seal of Excellence award from the National House Builder Council’s (NHBC) South West Pride in the Job regional awards.

He was also awarded a Pride in the Job Quality award this summer.

Both awards acknowledge Mike’s hard work and dedication to raising standards in house building.

Mike said: ‘To achieve a Seal of Excellence award on top of the Quality award this year is something the whole team at Dawlish View is really proud of; without their collective energy and support, it wouldn’t have been possible.

‘We are committed to providing the very best service and build quality for our homeowners at Dawlish View, so to receive this accolade feels very rewarding.’

Bradley Davison, Managing Director for Bloor Homes’ Exeter region, said: ’It’s an immense pleasure to see Mike honoured in this year’s NHBC Seal of Excellence category.

'He exemplifies construction excellence with a customer-first approach that consistently delivers the exceptional quality our homeowners deserve.’

Now in its 45th year and widely considered the ‘Oscars’ of the house-building industry, Pride in the Job celebrates site managers’ dedication to raising standards in house building, showcasing best practice and rewarding excellence.

Judging covers six key areas: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise and health and safety.
