A CRAFT centre in Bovey Tracey was won a grant from Arts Council England.

MAKE Southwest, formerly known as Devon Guild of Craftsmen, is an exhibition space in for contemporary craft and design, as well as a charity for craft education.

The grant, which will provide £158,000 for each of the next three years, will able MAKE Southwest to continue their charitable, not-for-profit work, promoting craft makers and craft making for all, across the region.

MAKE Southwest was founded as Devon Guild of Craftsmen in 1955 by a small group of makers.
