ALTHOUGH daily totals of cases for Teignbridge are no longer available on the Government portal, the overall case rate is going down.

Between February 25 and March 3, 563 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows a decrease of -5.1%compared to the previous seven days.

Between February 25 and March 3, there have been three deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.

The number of tests carried out has also reduced as between February 24 and March 2, there have been 16,093tests, a decrease of -16.1% compared to the previous seven days.

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust reports there were 19 patients in hospital with coronavirus on March 1 with no-one on a mechanical ventilator.
