COVID cases are still going down in Teignbridge although there have been three deaths.

After a break over the bank holiday, the Government has released the latest figures which show that between April 27 and May 3, 199 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows a decrease of -26.3% compared to the previous seven days.

Sadly, between the same dates, there have been three deaths in Teignbridge within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.

The Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust reports that between April 18 and 24, 35 people went into hospital with coronavirus, a decrease of -35.2% compared to the previous seven days.

There were 20 patients in hospital with coronavirus on April 26, none of them was on a mechanical ventilator.
