MAGISTRATES have revoked a community order on a Teignmouth man imposed for a racially-aggravated offence of threatening behaviour.

Callum Papanicolaou, 24, of Thornley Drive, admitted breaching the community order by failing, without reasonable excuse, to comply with the order’s requirements.

The original offence happened on June 29 2019 in Teignmouth when Papanicolaou displayed writing, a sign or other ‘visual representation’ which was intended to cause harassment, alarm or distress to an individual and which was racially aggravated.

Magistrates imposed a fine of £980.
