THE Kingsteignton father of a 16-year-old pupil who failed to attend school regularly has been fined £660.
The 16-year-old should have been attending a school in Exeter and the case was found to be proved in the absence of the father at South and West Devon Magistrates’ Court.
The father must also pay £150 costs and a £66 surcharge to fund victim services.
