MAGISTRATES have fined a Kingsteignton man for driving while over the drink-drive limit.

Jacob Sawyer, 19, of Little Hayes, was fined £120 and disqualified from driving for 20 months for driving a Peugeot car in Torquay on May 2 while having 75 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

Sawyer, who pleaded guilty, was also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
