A NEWTON Abbot pizza restaurant is inviting the community to support a fundraising coffee morning as its front-of-house manager prepares to trek across the Sahara Desert in aid of Rowcroft Hospice.
The Pizza Café at Queen Street will opens its doors for its ‘Big Bake Coffee Morning’ on Saturday, July 11.
From 9.30am to 11.30am visitors can help raise funds for front-of-house manager Sarah Stickland’s challenge of trekking across the Sahara Desert in support of Rowcroft.
Guests can enjoy fresh coffee, homemade cakes and a raffle.
A £5 donation is suggested for a cake and hot drink, with all proceeds going to Rowcroft.
The charity supports adults living with life-limiting illnesses across South Devon and relies heavily on the generosity of the local community to continue its vital work.
