A DARTMOOR-based charity is looking for landowners to collaborate with for its coming tree-planting season.

With a goal of restoring native, broadleaf woodland on Dartmoor, MoorTrees has put out the call to landowners on and around Dartmoor to collaborate with the charity for its 2026/27 planting season.

Using trees grown in its community nurseries, the charity, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2025, seeks to create new habitats.

‘If you are thinking about creating a woodland on your land on or near Dartmoor National Park, we still have availability for the coming season, so why not partner with us to create a nature-rich broadleaved woodland habitat’, the charity said.

‘If you have one to five hectares, and are open to planting 1100+ trees, we would particularly love to hear from you’, the charity added.

MoorTrees provide trees from its nurseries, as well as the people power for planting and support with accessing funding.
