Teignmouth Farmers’ Market is celebrating Pie Day tomorrow (Saturday, May 29).

In The Triangle you will find Red Earth’s legendary chicken and leek cutting pies, Stanbury’s award winning game pies, Pesto’s Italian sweet butter pies and India in a Jar Asian spiced pasties.

Pat-a-Cakes will be bringing sweet pies in addition to their cakes, even Shute Fruit will bake jam tarts.

Higher Humber Barn will be bringing sausage rolls and Veggie Deli will have vegetarian ones for snacking on.

And you can continue the celebration later in the week at home by baking your own quiches with eggs from Little Leigh farm and cheeses from Curworthy or Norwsorthy Goats. Make full use of any leftover bread from Bread of Devon for treacle tarts.

Organisers ask to please help keep everyone covid safe by sanitising your hands before entering and using the one way system around the market, queuing if necessary.

The market runs from 10am to 2pm.
