AN APPEAL has gone out to help with careers advice for students in Teignmouth.

Teignmouth School is hoping local businesses will help to inspire future generations at two careers events.

Head of careers at the school Natasha Brown has asked businesses to take part in its Careers Week to be held in March next year.

She said: ‘We are looking for local businesses to run assemblies during our careers week to talk about their career and what options they needed to get there.

‘I want to provide a variety of things but also make it relatable to them and their aspirations.’

Assembly time is 8.50am to 9.10am; one will be for Year 11s on Thursday March 9, and one for Year 10s on Friday March 10.

Anyone interested is asked to contact Natasha at [email protected]

She added: ‘We have several events up and coming too so if there are any skills you feel you could provide, it would be great to hear from you.’
