A CHARITY shop in Chudleigh has had a makeover.

The Brainwave shop in Fore Street has been renovated and turned into a ‘boutique’ charity shop.

It has now reopened since the extensive renovation, transforming it into a ‘stylish boutique shopping experience’.

An updated layout and improved presentation has been introduced to allow better browsing and a chance to hunt out great finds.

The refreshed shop is filled with carefully selected pre-loved items, including clothing, homeware, books and toys.

Keith Sinclair, CEO of Brainwave, said: ‘I would like to extend a huge thank you to our dedicated team who have worked so hard to transform the shop into a more bight and welcoming space.

‘We are incredibly grateful to our supporters and donors whose generosity keeps our shelves stocked and makes our work possible.

‘The positive feedback from customers since reopening has been wonderful to hear.’

Brainwave is a national children’s charity that supports families with children who have disabilities and additional needs to achieve greater independence.

Through a range of specialist therapies, the charity helps children make progress in communication,

mobility and cognitive skills.

A charity spokesman added: ‘As Brainwave relies on donations and fundraising, income from its retail shops plays a crucial role in enabling the charity to continue supporting families across the UK.

‘The Chudleigh shop’s re-opening marks an exciting new chapter in its ongoing commitment to the local community and the families it serves.’
