A CHARITY that provides free courier and transport services to NHS establishments, surgeries and communities across the South West is looking for volunteers.

Devon Freewheelers have put out the call for new volunteers to join its South Devon team.

There are numerous ways to volunteer for the blood bike charity, including being a rider, driver, call handler or fundraiser.

A spokesperson for the charity said: ‘Every single role plays a crucial part in helping us save lives and support the NHS across Devon.

‘If you have got the time, commitment, and a desire to give back to your community, we would love to hear from you.

‘Together, we really can make a difference’.
