POLICE are appealing to the public to help identify two men following an assault near a Torquay hotel.

The incident occurred opposite the Majestic Hotel on Tor Hill Road at around 8pm on June 27.

‘If you have any information or are able to identify these males, please call 101 and quote crime number 50250164552’, says Torquay Police.

‘Thank you for your assistance with this matter’, the police added.
