ASHBURTON Town Council is inviting local groups and organisations to apply for funding to support projects that improve the wellbeing of residents.

Applications for the council’s annual community grants scheme must be submitted by September 1.

Priority may be given to voluntary and community groups, not-for-profit organisations, registered charities and organisations based in Ashburton where projects directly benefit local residents.

Regional and national organisations can also apply, but must clearly demonstrate and quantify the specific benefits their projects would bring to Ashburton.

Each application will be considered on its individual merits, with decisions made at the council’s discretion.

The council reserves the right to refuse any application that does not meet the grant criteria.
