THIEVES have been in action in Ashburton where they stole catalytic converters.

Police are appealing for information after two commercial vans were targeted overnight on Tuesday July 29.

One van was also broken into and two hedge cutters and a leaf blower were taken.

Both vehicles were parked on the street in the area of Roborough Lane, close to the junction of Little Roborough when the break-ins happened.

Officers investigating the incidents would like to hear from anyone that has CCTV or dash cam footage which may have captured suspicious activity in this area around the time of the thefts.
